Jesus is Merciful

Matthew 5:7  "Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy."

To have mercy is to give forgiveness when you feel others may have sinned against you. Often, our perception of other's sin is simple misunderstanding. We take things that happen the wrong way,  and assign evil motives to what may actually be loving actions. Our Father is not evil, He is completely good. When circumstances seem to go against us, no matter how difficult it may feel at the time, all is ultimately for our individual good. To be as Jesus, we must extend this same mercy and forgiveness to all, as that is the key to obtaining mercy and forgiveness for ourselves. Give that which you desire to receive.
